Microneedling
Microneedling also called dermal needling has become the skin rejuvenation modality of choice for patients and practitioners alike.
Microneedling is a natural, safe, less invasive, effective and affordable treatment. No artificial fillers or medications are used. Microneedling can be effective in reducing wrinkles, restoring skin thickness, treating hyperpigmentation, premature aging, acne scars and UV damaged skin.
The microneedling in office procedure using a pen is generally performed 1 month apart for anti-aging. A total of 6 treatments is ideal and natural peptides can improve results. Hypertrophic scars are treated 2 weeks apart and a total of 6 treatments is usually required. Patients can also use a dermal roller at home to help maintain results. Dr. Lanchbury often uses a “Beauty” IV nutritional formula to support results obtained from micro needling.
